You can choose between two payment options when you join The Design Den:
You’ll be charged $49 per month (Founding member price) on the day you sign up. After that, you’ll be charged monthly on the same date you originally purchased (for example, if you join on May 5th, you’ll be charged on June 5th, July 5th, and so on).
While there’s no long-term lock-in, I strongly recommend staying in The Design Den for at least 3 months to get the best results. That gives you time to work through the core training, get support and feedback, and actually apply what you’re learning so you can see real progress.
Pay upfront for 12 months and only pay for 10 – giving you two months free. This option is perfect if you know you want long-term support and want to save money at the same time.
No problem – you’re always in control of your subscription.
If you’re on the monthly plan, you can cancel at any time through your PayPal account (go to Subscriptions in your account settings). While you’re free to cancel whenever you like, I recommend staying for at least 3 months so you have time to learn, apply what you’re learning and get real support and feedback.
If you’re on the yearly plan, cancelling simply stops your membership from renewing at the end of your 12-month term. You’ll continue to have full access for the remainder of the year you’ve already paid for.
Please note:
• No prorated refunds are given for either monthly or yearly memberships.
• Yearly members will continue to receive member emails until the end of their paid 12-month term.
• Monthly members are removed from member emails as soon as they cancel.
• Monthly members retain community access for 14 days after cancelling.
The weekly Q&A sessions are designed to be interactive and focused on helping you in real time, so they are not recorded.
Calls take place every Thursday at 7pm SAST, and I’ll send you a reminder email with the login link each week so you don’t forget.
The best way to benefit is to join live, ask your questions and get immediate feedback on your designs or challenges. If you miss a week, no problem – you can simply bring your questions to the next session.
Once your payment comes through, I’ll send you a Welcome email with your personal invite and all the details you need to join the community.
Because PayPal isn’t directly connected to my course platform (it only supports Stripe, which I can’t use here), access isn’t instant. I need to manually enrol you after I receive the payment notification from PayPal.
You’ll receive your access email within 24 hours of signing up. Thank you for your patience – and for bearing with this slightly old-school setup for now!
There’s no fixed minimum, but I highly recommend staying in The Design Den for at least 3 months so you can really settle in, work through the trainings and start seeing proper results.
If you know you want ongoing support, the yearly plan is the best value – it works out cheaper and gives you the time and space to make big progress on your brand and designs over the year, with guidance every step of the way.
Just a quick note...
While it’s not a strict requirement, The Design Den is designed for people who have already completed Design Your Brand Academy and want ongoing support as they continue designing their graphics.
That’s because DBA helps you define your brand, build your Canva Brand Kit, and create your templates and design system. Once those foundations are in place, The Design Den becomes the space where you continue designing with guidance, feedback and ongoing support.
If you’re starting from scratch and need help building your brand step by step, I recommend beginning with Design Your Brand Academy first.
However, if you already have a clear brand and simply want support as you continue creating graphics for your business, you’re very welcome inside The Design Den.
